I checked with Verizon today and they do not sell and will not release our numbers unless we sign something to do that but she did say if you sign up for contests etc it could be given out and said to call the do not call list. She verified this number for me that it is the correct one as some people are receiving bad numbers so then you could be giving out your number that way/ This is SAFE AND CORRECT
Call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. You must call from the cell phone number you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different phone number. HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS. It take about 20 seconds.
